The Violet A. Patterson Pearl Award is the chapter’s highest honor and is awarded annually to a member who exemplifies exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment to sisterhood, and outstanding service through chapter programs and community engagement.

This distinguished recognition is named in honor of  the Chapter's first Pearl member, Violet A. Patterson, whose legacy of service, excellence, and love for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® continues to inspire generations of members.
